This is a beautiful and peaceful cottage. It was well equipped and very nicely furnished. The huge spa bath was a lovely surprise! It was also nice and warm during the colder evenings. It's just a few minutes drive through pretty country lanes to the A30 for touring Cornwall by car, and the same for St Erth station. The hosts were prompt to respond to queries, and the written directions they sent were perfect, and appreciated as the booking.com map pin is a little bit inaccurate. The welcome goodies were also much appreciated. Would definitely stay here again.

Anvil House is a beautiful old cottage that has been newly renovated to an exceptional standard, with so many special touches and details. With three separate bedrooms, two ensuite bathrooms and off road parking, it was the perfect spot to take my elderly parents on holiday for a few days. The village of St Erth itself is also delightful and the perfect location to explore the Hayle Estuary, Marazion, St Ives, Penzance, Newlyn, Mousehole, Land's End and beyond. We would definitely recommend Anvil House to other visitors and hope to return ourselves again one day.

The fridge freezer and oven were big appliances which is unusual in a holiday cottage. Very impressed. Very comfortable beds. Nice position within the park. Wonderful location which was very handy for all the local attractions. Staff on the park were very friendly and we enjoyed the use of the swimming pool, pool table and shop.

Swimming pool looked good but was unable to use due to being shut , the play park was good , we used the laundrette which was clean . The holiday home had a great size fridge freezer, a lovely oven , and great size kitchen . There was plenty of bedrooms to pick from. The internet worked great for us , and it was quite fun linking the phone up to the fire in the lounge.

There is a lovely, proper pub in Saint Erth, The Star, that serves good food and is very dog friendly.

The kitchen was fully stocked, including teas and coffees. There was even bread in the bread bin for us. The Easter Eggs for the children were a wonderful touch. The layout of the house is playfully quirky, with nooks and crannies to explore; our kids loved playing hide and seek! With books, games and the hut tub, we didn't want for anything at all during our stay. We are already thinking about our next stay.
