Sunset House í Arco da Calheta býður upp á gistirými sem eru aðeins fyrir fullorðna með garði, verönd og grillaðstöðu. Gistihúsið er með fjalla- og garðútsýni og býður gestum upp á ókeypis WiFi. The location if you travel with car is best, the view is incredible ❤️ The hosta are very nice and helpful. Housenis very calm & peaceful. Kitchen is well-equiped and hosts even offer some products from their garden ^^ Highly recommend if you don’t mind not having the private bathroom. Thank you guys and best of luck!

Blue green býður upp á sundlaugarútsýni og gistirými með svölum, í um 1,1 km fjarlægð frá Caminho Faja do Mar-ströndinni. Gististaðurinn er með sjávarútsýni, verönd og sundlaug. Emanuela and Eddy were fantastic hosts! The location was perfect, the room was delightful and clean. We had absolutely no complaints and this was a great launch pad for the first nights of our honeymoon!

Amoreira House er staðsett í innan við 2,7 km fjarlægð frá Calheta-strönd og 25 km frá Girao-höfðanum. Boðið er upp á herbergi með loftkælingu og sérbaðherbergi í Calheta. We chose this place to explore the west part of the island and it was a perfect starting point for all the places we wanted to visit. Multiple famous Levadas are only 20 min away by car. Parking was available right in front of the apartment. The place was nice and tidy, everything is practically new. A big plus was the balcony with a lovely view where we enjoyed our dinners during sunset. Special thanks goes to the lovely Luis (owner), who is a really great guy!

Encanto do Sol er staðsett í Ponta og býður upp á garð- og sjávarútsýni. do Sol er í 500 metra fjarlægð frá Ponta do Sol-ströndinni og í 1,7 km fjarlægð frá Lugar de Baixo-ströndinni. Absolutely amazing stay! Everything about this place is special: outstanding hosts and reception, paradise view with palms and ocean, chill and sunny location. We would definitely want to stay again and longer.

Casa da Cal - by Casas na Ilha er staðsett í Câmara de Lobos, 700 metra frá Vigário-ströndinni, og býður upp á gistirými með útisundlaug, ókeypis einkabílastæði, garð og verönd. Honestly at first, I was a bit taken aback that there is no staff on site and that it was more of a house/Airbnb type than a hotel. However, it turned out to be AMAZING. I made this purchase DAY OF because of a very stressful last minute change to my trip, and this place was just what I needed to unwind and relax. Everything was super clean, and safe, and the facilities were just wonderful. I also talked with the cleaning lady the next day and she was super sweet. There were mango trees dropping fruit on the property, and all in all it was just magical. Free protected parking and everything. I felt completely safe there. There’s also a grocery store like a 5 min walk away if you want to go pick things up to cook (as well as many eateries).

We had an amazing stay at this comfortable apartment! Central location to the market across the street and grocery stores and bus and the waterfront promenade. It felt like we were locals going to the grocery store and taking the bus, not like tourists! The apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything you could possibly need! We loved it! Jose was a wonderful host and he was in touch with us from the moment we landed at the airport and any time we had a question he was quick to answer all of our questions! We didn't have a problem with noise from the market early morning but we always travel with a white noise machine so we didn't hear anything. We found the bed super comfortable. We were there for almost 2 weeks and cannot wait to go back to Madeira and hope that Jose's apartment is available when we do!! Thank you so much Jose!!

Rochão Village by Rent2UGististaðurinn Lda er staðsettur í Calheta, í 25 km fjarlægð frá Girao-höfðanum, og býður upp á sjávarútsýni, ókeypis WiFi og ókeypis einkabílastæði. This property and the accommodations are excellent. Very close access (by car) to levada walks and Fanal forest areas. Levada Nova da Calheta can be walked both directions right from the property. We would definitely book again.
