A Tendinha - Guest House ligger i Peso da Régua, 12 minuters promenad från Douro Museum och 14 km från Our Lady of Remedies Sanctuary, och har stadsutsikt och gratis WiFi. This guesthouse was very stylish and thoughtfully appointed. It had everything we needed and welcome glasses of port and sweets were provided. A nice touch. It was located on the first floor by a staircase above a very popular pasteleria which is where breakfast was served. This was one of the best breakfasts we have had and staff could not have been more helpful in ensuring we had everything we wanted during our 2 night stay. Car parking was very easy and convenient and free which was an added bonus. The guesthouse is also close to the train station We highly recommend A Tendinha to anyone staying in Peso da Regua who can manage a short flight of stairs.

What an amazing place and warm, wonderful hosts Paolo and Carla make you feel like old friends. Beware, booking.com's directions take you to the wrong house. Follow Google maps to Quinta da Menina Guest house instead and you won't get lost. The place seems brand new but charming. It's spotless and gorgeous. The pool is crystal clear and breakfast is fantastic. Don't make the mistake we made and only book one night. You are going to want to stay at this beautiful oasis and explore the wine area for, at least, a few days. I would have stayed forever if I could.

Salgueiral Guest House Douro ligger 19 minuters promenad från Douro Museum och 16 km från Our Lady of Remedies Sanctuary, och erbjuder boende med gratis WiFi och en terrass. The room is not big, but very warmly decorated! The bed was very comfortable, slept very well! The kitchen is fully equipped and easy to use, perfect for cooking your own meals while traveling! The host was very friendly and warm-hearted, and the communication was very pleasant. He also prepared a welcome dessert for us! He really tried to make a sweet home for us!

Casa dos 4 Caminhos - Guest House Douro ligger 15 minuters promenad från Douro Museum erbjuder en gemensam lounge och luftkonditionerat boende med en uteplats och gratis WiFi. Wonderful guest house with all of the amenities you could ask for. Marco and Joana are friendly, helpful and accommodating hosts. We can't recommend this accommodation more for a long weekend in the Douro Valley, off-street and secure parking was another huge bonus!

Zimão Garden House erbjuder boende i Vila Real, 31 km från Vidagopalatsets golfbana och 43 km från Douro Museum. Quiet place with great confort in a fully renovated house. Small details in the decoration made it unique and unforgettable, the host was very helpful and her two cats really made the end of my trip worthwhile.

Also, the facilities was very comfortable and clean, the view was amazing and the breakfast was always complete. The only thing was that the bathroom water drain could be even smarter. In addition to everything, I recommend the Muas Guest House and their homemade cakes, they were amazing.

Quinta Pedreira dos Anjos ligger i Provesende, 12 km från Natur Waterpark, och erbjuder boende med en trädgård, gratis privat parkering, en terrass och en bar. We wanted quite and romantic place, out of the city place but close enough to drive by car. This place is located 20-25 minutes from the Sabrosa/Pinhao. The stay was amazing! The room was spacious enough and we had a big window facing the valley. The sunset and the morning views are incredible there. And because of the isolated location it so quite there. Except the room there is also a place outside in the property to sit and enjoy the wine and the views. The host gave us a taste of their own wine and port and we also asked for the breakfast (additional price). Wow, you definitely must have it! Aurora made us a wonderful breakfast. Everything on the table came from their own garden. And the view from the balcony (where we ate) is amazing.

We liked the warm welcome and the excellent hospitality provided by Miguel and Teresa. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The breakfast was delicious with homemade and/or locally-sourced produce. The room was simply but tastefully furnished and comfortable. Facilities for self-catering provided. Highly recommended!

Casa do Hospital-Guest House ligger i Abaças och erbjuder boende med utsikt över staden samt en trädgård, en gemensam lounge, en terrass och grillmöjligheter. EVERYTHING! Carlos and Paula made us feel at home and we had the best night so far in that cute place with a lot of history and charme! We had a wonderful and very fresh breakfast prepared for us in the morning, wonderful conversations with the other guests ( just 4 rooms overall) and loved the dog!
