Coffee and croissant. perfetto.

Bed was really comfy, shower was incredibly beautiful, with a glass door (when in to the Fuego room, probably better to sleep there with your significant other, but you can still manage to get some privacy otherwise). Location is really good as you can go visit by foot. Parking isnt that bad, as we managed to park in the street neer the hotel, and only had to walk 5 minutes or so. Breakfast was good, served on the terrace (fresh fruits, coffee, cereals, local jams, local pastries..) would def come back when in Matera, great value for the money!

This place is strategically located half way from the Matera central station on the downhill way to the city centre, in five minutes walking distance to both places, with everything you may need for your stay easily reachable on foot. It looks like the apartment in the residential building has been rebuilt to serve as an interesting concept of a mini hotel with a couple of comfortable, pleasant and quiet rooms, and the common space with the front desk and a small dining area, offering the free access to coffee/tea machine around the clock. The staff provided the luggage storage and texted us as soon as the room was ready, which we appreciated very much. If we find the time to visit Matera again, we'll definitely book this place again.

Unique experience in a room carved out of stone that was nicely decorated. We were upgraded to a larger room. Location was perfect and hosts were all very friendly and helpful. One of the best breakfast offerings during our stay in Italy.

Amazing location. View from the terrace was amazing. Really good and delicious breakfast. The hosts are helpful and nice. We arrived early and they let us check in early which was really good for us. Totally recommend it.

The room was exceptionally clean and the host was very welcoming and generous. He offered to take us on a tour of Matera right away. They made a great effort to help us regarding our allergies to fabric softeners and scents. The fridge, coffee maker and kettle are shared between two rooms, but the hosts provide plenty of provisions for an Italian style breakfast.
