The location is very good, right next to the old city and the Sassi but still in the modern part.

The room was exceptionally clean and the host was very welcoming and generous. He offered to take us on a tour of Matera right away. They made a great effort to help us regarding our allergies to fabric softeners and scents. The fridge, coffee maker and kettle are shared between two rooms, but the hosts provide plenty of provisions for an Italian style breakfast.
