Nestled at the foot of the Slieve Bloom Mountains, Roundwood House offers Irish hospitality in a historic home of architectural interest. I wanted to leave early and it was no trouble to make me a beautiful breakfast at 6.30am

Set in the Valley of Stradbally, Fitz Of Inch - Self Catering House and Barns is located in the heart of Ireland's Ancient East. Amazing secluded location. Very welcoming atmosphere. Brilliant kitchen facilities. Large room with a smart tv. Bed was extremely comfortable. Shared bathroom was lovely, very nice shower. Hot tub and entertainment barn were added bonuses. Extremely well kept and maintained property.

Fabulous Georgian House of the 1770s beautifully restored by its owners from whom we had a very warm welcome. We had the top floor with separate bathroom, sitting room and bedroom. Bags of character and our hosts were very friendly and helpful. Lovely garden.
