We were not big fans of Chania, as the city can get pretty busy and crowded, but this hotel is absolutely perfect. Amazing location to observe the buzzing tourist center from afar and everything one might need: beach towels, hair dryer, great shower. Absolutely perfect!

Located 27 km from Fortress of Frangokastello, Anopoli Rooms offers air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. I will be back for sure. The staff is super-helpful, the food is amazing and the room was very large, very quiet and comfortable and with a modern bathroom. Anopolis is the historical centre of the Sfakiá district, so staying at this hotel is the perfect deal.

Situated conveniently in the Chania Old Town district of Chania Town, Alegria Pension is set 1.5 km from Koum Kapi Beach, 1.7 km from Kladissos Beach and 100 metres from Firkas Fortress. The location was excellent with everything you needed just a short walk away. The owner, Artemis was lovely. So friendly and welcoming and went out of her way to ensure we had the best time. The room was a good size with all the necessities. A good comfortable bed, great air conditioning, a fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, a fully stocked bathroom and a safety deposit box.

Located in Galatás, 1 km from Kalamaki Beach, Kanso Rooms provides accommodation with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, free private parking and a garden. Amazing little boutique hotel slightly outside of Chania. I had one of the ground floor, pool-facing rooms, it was very spacious, comfortable and clean, and tastefully decorated. The kitchen was very well equipped to be able to cook your own meals, although the kitchenette is tiny, all the equipment you need is available. I loved the pool area in particular, with sun beds and even a hammock, it was so quiet and peaceful when I visited as it was early in the season. The hosts were super lovely and helpful, and the cleaning ladies did a thorough job every day, even doing the dishes which was such a luxury! The supermarket is ca 10 mins walk (note - up the hill on the way back so can be though in the heat), and you can catch a bus once an hour to and from Chania just outside of the hotel which takes between 17-35 mins (shorter into town, longer on the way back). I had an amazing week's stay and can highly recommend Kanso!

Set in Chania Town and with Koum Kapi Beach reachable within 500 metres, Antica Canea Luxury Rooms offers express check-in and check-out, allergy-free rooms, a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, free... Don't look anywhere else!!! If we could give 10 stars we would. First of all, the location is perfect. Smack dab in the middle of the old city, and our hosts were kind enough to provide us with a parking spot for our rented car for the duration of our stay. The harbor is a 2-minute walk and once you step outside your room, you are pretty much within a few minute's walking distance of restaurants, shopping, etc. Even though the location is in the middle of old town, the rooms remain quiet and we slept peacefully. Air conditioning worked great as well, which was a relief after some of the other places where we stayed. The rooms were immaculate, clean, and beautiful. Hosts were extremely responsive to any and all questions (including when we locked ourselves out of our room. Twice.) We had an amazing stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay here on our next visit to Chania. Loved everything!!!

Cretan Berry Sarpaki is situated in the Chania Old Town district of Chania Town, 1.4 km from Nea Chora Beach, 2 km from Kladissos Beach and 500 metres from Chania Old Venetian Harbour. Modern apartment in the heart of the old town in Chania. The host was very kind and responded immediately to all our requests and questions. The cleaning stuff was very friendly and even on our 2-night stay they cleaned the apartment every morning. Totally worth it, would stay again!
