Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated Portman Lodge offers accommodation with a garden and free WiFi. Breakfast was excellent and honestly why we chose Portman Lodge. My husband wanted to experience an English Breakfast. Neal was super helpful and friendly. The room was much nicer, comfortable and more modern than expected.

Breakfast was cooked to order, clean, tasty and no problem to cater for someone with dietary requirements. Fab room up on the top floor. Lovely hearing the water lapping at night and seeing the beach across the road. Vanessa and Simon helpful, upbeat, caring and delightful. Hotel was well appointed with beautiful touches throughout such as a pretty chandelier in the dining room.

Boasting garden views, The Cider Shed Bed and Breakfast features accommodation with a garden and a balcony, around 3.4 km from Monkey World. Very clean comfortable room. Bed slept very well. Hostess served homemade croissants every morning with assortment of other breakfast foods. Most quiet place I have ever stayed. Hostess was wonderful and quick to help with anything I needed (which was not much because everything was so well organized)

Accommodation very clean and pleasant with a wide range of hot drinks available in your room. Fresh, good quality linen. Very comfortable and everything needed available. Excellent breakfast menu with a great choice of hot and cold food. Definitely the place to stay if you want to be well looked after. Nothing is too much trouble!
