A wonderful small family-run hotel in the centre of the old town part of Veliko Tărnovo. The location is perfect, especially as it’s located one block away from the sometimes noisy main road. It’s a well-designed new building and spotlessly clean. Miroslav, the host while I was there, was a fountain of information and tremendously helpful in making onward travel plans.

We loved our hostess, Stefka, who took excellent care of us. We liked the terrases especially the one with a view to the fortress (beautifully lit at night) and breakfast on this terrace, with home made pie, jam, cookies and pancakes and many other goodies. We are planning to return.

This was probably one of the warmest, kindest, cleanest and joyful place we have ever stayed. This place is in the hostorical part of the town and has a lot of character. The smell of the building is very pleasant (not moldy or old). My room was very clean, bathroom was modern. The shower had a good water preassure. It was very quiet. It was nice that the room was warm when I arrived. Beds are old style, but very comfortable. Receptionits were very nice and helpful.
