A wonderful small family-run hotel in the centre of the old town part of Veliko Tărnovo. The location is perfect, especially as it’s located one block away from the sometimes noisy main road. It’s a well-designed new building and spotlessly clean. Miroslav, the host while I was there, was a fountain of information and tremendously helpful in making onward travel plans.

Offering a garden and city view, Къща Рачеви is located in Tryavna, 24 km from Etar and 43 km from Archaeological Museum Veliko Turnovo. The house is very close to the center of the town, but it's still in a very quit and residential part of Tryavna. The house is well maintained and you can tell the owners put lots of thought and care into the rooms.

We loved our hostess, Stefka, who took excellent care of us. We liked the terrases especially the one with a view to the fortress (beautifully lit at night) and breakfast on this terrace, with home made pie, jam, cookies and pancakes and many other goodies. We are planning to return.

This was probably one of the warmest, kindest, cleanest and joyful place we have ever stayed. The hosts are full of life and life tales, they make you feel so much at home and treat you like one of their friends from the second they meet you. The room was spacious, clean and quiet with everything you could possibly need to make the stay perfect.

Boasting a shared lounge, garden and views of river, HiStory INN Unique Guest House is situated in Veliko Tŭrnovo, 200 metres from Archaeological Museum Veliko Turnovo. This place is in the hostorical part of the town and has a lot of character. The smell of the building is very pleasant (not moldy or old). My room was very clean, bathroom was modern. The shower had a good water preassure. It was very quiet. It was nice that the room was warm when I arrived. Beds are old style, but very comfortable. Receptionits were very nice and helpful.

The hostess was extraordinary... Very helpful and friendly.The rooms were big, cozy and clean. Breakfast was great.The location perfect.Next to the centre and you could visit all monuments by foot. I surely will be visiting again.
