This location in Ribeirinha is convenient and perfect!! So close to gorgeous countryside, scenic walks, and Caldeira Velha. There’s also a little grocery store and bus stop nearby. The host/owner was also very kind and generous, and his accommodation is pet friendly so I was able to bring my small dog along. I really enjoyed my stay.

Very nice place, decorated with taste up to the little details. Great location, super friendly staff, comfortable beds. We were provided with welcome cookies, tea, coffee, bathrobe, even with beachtowels. .Upon arrival, we were given a local map and orientation about the place and then sights. Great kitchen, it has everything you need. It is well organized with separate spaces for each room, the same in the fridge There's laundry service in Ribeira Grande and in Ponten Delgada if you need to do laundry. :)

Orlando is a great host, with a really nice guest house in a perfect location to visit the island. The room was spacious for two people, with a spacious private bathroom. The shared kitchen is well equipped for anything you would need over the vacation. (We stayed at a private room. There is also a separate apartment in the house, with a private kitchen I believe.)

The view alone is amazing and then you have this wonderful terrace to enjoy it. Host was super engaging and responsive, we felt really well cared for. Porto Formoso is a quiet village, perfect for a secluded stay but perfectly situated to visit all corners of the island at the same time. We could have stayed forever!

Free parking right outside, very close to the beach and a couple of restaurants.

Also, the host is really kind and helpful!
