This guesthouse was very stylish and thoughtfully appointed. It had everything we needed and welcome glasses of port and sweets were provided. A nice touch. It was located on the first floor by a staircase above a very popular pasteleria which is where breakfast was served. This was one of the best breakfasts we have had and staff could not have been more helpful in ensuring we had everything we wanted during our 2 night stay. Car parking was very easy and convenient and free which was an added bonus. The guesthouse is also close to the train station We highly recommend A Tendinha to anyone staying in Peso da Regua who can manage a short flight of stairs.

The host was welcoming, friendly, informative and very generous. The accommodation was large, well equipped and had many bonuses. The area was quiet and safe.

Really huge house. Much better than on the pictures. It has everything you need for a great stay. We felt like the owners ( some duke or very successful merchants from 100 years ago) left it for us to a couple of days. We truly enjoyed it.

Great stay, its a beautiful place that Margarida has! Margarida is super friendly and helpful, she is a great host. Great breakfast, nice pool and facilities and friendly staff. Great winetasting with Luis as well on the facilities. Couldnt ask for more!

This place was like something out of a movie. The views were spectacular. The wine tour included was really cool even if you are not one for wine tours I highly recommend to check it out. The facilities and grounds of the hotel were absolutely stunning. The dinner with wine was so good but make sure you go super hungry because they give you a ton of food. Our air conditioning unfortunately was not working but they brought us a fan which helped and they also took care of our drinks that evening. Highly recommend we wish we could have stayed longer!
