(we had originally booked elsewhere but it turned out to be awful so we moved to Siril Guesthouse and couldn't have asked for a better experience!) Clean, comfortable, spacious! Great shower (best in our travels in Sri Lanka) and a great shared kitchen to use. Location perfect, easy walking distance to town but in quiet area. Gayan helped us with local transportation around town and also to the train station, for great rates. THANK YOU to Gayan and his wife for a wonderful stay!!!

Really cute guesthouse with only two rooms! Very clean, spacious, I had a private balcony, very quiet, so you sleep really well. It’s a bit further away from town, but the owners’ family will try their best in giving you rides. They pick you up from the train station (check the price though) and I also really liked the breakfast and the dinner, even though both seem quite pricey compared to what I’ve had so far. You really feel at home at their place and the owner’s cousin Chaami is an amazing tour guide and showed me some of the best places for a very fair price, thank you! Would definitely stay again
