Very tastefully decorated and comfortable room. Host was super friendly (gave us a bag of breakfast treats to take with us). Lots of choice for breakfast. Location is 10 minutes from central Galway on a very quite street.

The property was squeaky, clean and had everything we needed. We were in Europe for a full month and stayed at many properties, and this place had the most comfortable bed. The host Ronnie, went out of his way to welcome us with warm apple pie and to help us plan our days for a while we were there. He even packed a scone, butter, and water, and had it waiting by our door in the morning before we left on our adventure.

The property was like renting out a single room airbnb. You had access to a kitchen and living area but basically on your own. It was quiet, and clean. The host were kind but we didn’t see too much of them as we were out and about a lot. Perfect location for visiting Galway, Canamara, and Aran Islands. Also the views of the ocean and the cute walk down to the shore was a nice benefit.

We had a wonderful time in Lisheen Lodge. The breakfast is huge, amazing, and on Sunday morning we found pancackes among a lot of other things. The house is a 10 minute walk from the city center. The host is a wonderful person; he gave us some nice suggestions to where to go. My partner had to work one night and the host was amazing, he let him use the common area and brought him tea and biscuits. He is such a nice guy!! We defenetely recommend this place and will back for sure.

Made a last minute booking. The price was very attractive for the area, reviews were good and there was nearby free parking. We were extremely impressed with our stay. I have never stayed any place cleaner. Simple but elegant style. In house restaurant was fabulous. Vry nice to walk the along the ocean and to restaurants and bars. After dinner enjoyed a short walk to live music and a few pints. Yes, the rooms are small but just needed a bed and shower. Very comfortable space. Will definitely stay again when back up in Galway.
