The location was incredible; so beautiful! lt is within the town fortified by castle walls and close to both the castle and the Maison de Gruyères. The Maison Cailler was only an hour walk away. The room was also very close to some beautiful nature views. Chantal was very welcoming and accomodating and speaks English well

Our room was lovely - comfortable and clean with a stunning view of the mountains and the castle :) Wellness Facilities were excellent and breakfast was tasty with an amazing variety. The hotel is in a great location with only a few minutes walk to the beautiful little village of Gruyeres. We loved our stay and would highly recommend!

Point to note - bus 260 to Gruyere Ville operates till 7+pm from the Gruyeres main station - check google maps. Use the bus otherwise its a long uphill walk. Quiet town with food places nearby. No supermarket though, have to take the bus and go to another village for the supermarket like Migros or Denner. Ate at the restaurant and the food was good too.
