The Inn has five rooms. We pride ourselves on clean, simple and funky accommodation for the traveler to stay and explore the area. Rooms are private with a shared kitchen and two shared bathrooms

Loved it! Rooms were lovely (especially the ones with the sea-facing view). Not huge but big enough, and very cosy and homely. Shared kitchen had everything you’d need. Would recommend!

Guests staying at Black Bear Guesthouse can enjoy on-site wildlife viewing. All guests are welcome to enjoy the waterfront side of the property which is in front of the owners main residence. The nearby Inlet is home to river otters, bald eagles and seals, among other animals.

The inn was very centrally located and within walking distance of anything in town. Plus, from the patio there was a fantastic view of the harbour. I didn’t have a water facing room but was told I could make myself at home on the restaurant patio in the evening to take in the views. I was even offered a throw blanket to keep me warm as the evenings were chilly in September. There were multiple maps available of the town and surrounding area and staff was very helpful with recommendations. My room was a very good size and comfortable. Well supplied with coffee, glasses, towels etc.
