A wonderful small family-run hotel in the centre of the old town part of Veliko Tărnovo. The location is perfect, especially as it’s located one block away from the sometimes noisy main road. It’s a well-designed new building and spotlessly clean. Miroslav, the host while I was there, was a fountain of information and tremendously helpful in making onward travel plans.

We liked the old town, the fortress, the position of the town with picturesque old houses lining the river valley. We loved our hostess, Stefka, who took excellent care of us. We liked the terrases especially the one with a view to the fortress (beautifully lit at night) and breakfast on this terrace, with home made pie, jam, cookies and pancakes and many other goodies. We are planning to return.

Everything was perfect ! The room was clean, there is a “real” shower where we don’t need to mop after, quite rare in Bulgaria. The view is amazing. Very close to all the attractions in town.

This place is in the hostorical part of the town and has a lot of character. The smell of the building is very pleasant (not moldy or old). My room was very clean, bathroom was modern. The shower had a good water preassure. It was very quiet. It was nice that the room was warm when I arrived. Beds are old style, but very comfortable. Receptionits were very nice and helpful.

That was such an amazing experience: the kindest hosts I have ever had, the location was literally the most central possible, and the breakfast offered a huge variety of choice (I loved the scrambled eggs!). Thank you, I will come again!

perfect location between fortress and city center. the building is historial yet the rooms are comfortable. the view is amazing, and Giorgi is an attentive host.

Staff were wonderful, communal kitchen was good. Excellent coffee thatvwas included too!
