The caravan was well equipped, everything you would need for a self catering holiday. On site there was plenty to keep the little ones occupied. There were lovely walks into Knaresbough too and if you have a dog there are lots of walks. Wouldn't think twice about doing back.We enjoyed every aspect of the holiday, the caravan, the site, how close it is to Knaresbough. We went to bed every night exhausted but happy.

Set in a woodland area overlooking the lake, Rose is a 100 year old renovated traditional bow top wagon with feature stain glass window. The wagon features a cosy pull out 4ft x 6ft double bed. To say we had a wonderful stay, would be an understatement! Wendy was so welcoming and we felt right at home from the moment we arrived. The grounds are beautiful, very quiet and you really feel like you're in a little oasis, away from the city. The cabin we slept in was lovely, with cute decorations and there was tea and coffee available. Wendy gave us lots of tips to discover York as well! We only met Andrew on the last day of our stay but he was just as lovely as Wendy! I couldn't recommend Acorn Glade enough if you're looking to relax away from the city and feel like you're in your own little nature bubble. I could write 3 more paragraphs about how amazing our stay was with Wendy and Andrew, but I'll leave it at this :)

This tent features a barbecue, electric kettle and private entrance. This is our second visit to Skipbridge farm and won’t be our last. This year we stayed in Wally’s Wife, it’s absolutely amazing! So cosy and the interior is beautiful. It’s filled with all your essentials you need for your stay. The Eco hot tub was already nice and warm for when we arrived. We brought coal with us this year and did a bbq (there’s already a disposable one waiting for you) and built a fire. Plenty of wood, kindling, fire lighters and matches to keep the hot tub going. Everything’s all ready for you when you arrive, no messing around with checking in. Lovely peaceful surroundings and well distanced from others on the site. Only short drive from York city centre and the York outlet.

Beautiful site nice rural views, Walking distance to local pub, driving distance to all our favourite country and coast locations
