The hostel is modern, the staff was very friendly and helpful. It has a kitchen that you can use and place to store your food. I stayed at the private room, that was spatious and comfortable. The bathrooms are shared but they are perfectly distributed, very practical and clean. Parking space is available infront of the hostel and there is a private lot close to it (not property of the hostel). The social areas are beautiful, with a pool, garden and sitting places to enjoy and relax. Good internet connection. The hostel has a do not disturb after 10pm policy which was great for people to respect others. The location is good. 5 blocks from the central park.

They also provide laundry service, which was essential after I spent a couple of sweaty days on the coast. The front desk guy was very friendly. My bed was really comfy and the fan in the room was super clutch.

During our hike to Acatenango we were allowed to leave our stuff there without charge! The breakfast on the rooftop with sometimes a view of the Volcanos el Fuego and Acatenango was cool. Its a bit of a walking distance to town but for us that was ok. :)

The bed cabins are perfect with your own curtain, a plug socket, lamp and a great size so you can sit up and not bang your head and very very comfy! The best part.. the staff. Never seen a property and bathrooms get cleaned that often, was always sparkling. The rooftop was a nice, quiet retreat from the city. Nice offerings in the cafe, free breakfast was great. The beds were so so comfy and spacious, didn't notice at all the bunks were three high. Price is definitely worth it.
