Our stay at in Aswan at Aragheed House was a true highlight of our month long stay in Egypt. We originally booked for 2 nights but extended to 5 nights due to the wonderful hospitality we received. We spent several hours on the chilled rooftop, chatting with Bassam and his friends/family and other travelers. Bassam is extremely proud of his Nubian heritage and we enjoyed learning about the culture. We highly recommend sharing the dinner at the guest house - it was outstanding and a truly social and communal event. We enjoyed our sand boarding activity and the guest house is only minutes from the public ferry across to the East bank and from the Noble Tombs, which are well worth a visit.

Everything was great, super nice staff, delicious breakfasts, localization far from the noise of the city but close to ferry so it's easy to go to the city center.

Im shoked that this place gets any review less than 10/10. Ok the rooms are nothing fancy but for the price you will recieve way more than anywhere else in Aswan. David is probably the friendliest and most helpful host we have ever had on our travels. Every question we had was patiently explained. The place is a bit on the outskirts of town but David will help ypu take a mini bus for 2 pounds! He will even write you a small statement in Arabic to show the driver. Also it was nice to stay in the local neighborhood, you get a sense of daily life in Aswan The wifi was good and shower was warm. Bed was firm, but the rooms are clean. The free laundry was a huge plus. If we come back, tbis is where we will stay.

On the banks of the river Nile Every single moment was valuable at this property like a wonderland of simplicity and beauty. Nothing could be a relief for soul like it was. Waking up every single day to see such a sun rise pallet could completely suffice, but limitless joy and kindness of warmhearted hostesses take it much further to become an implicit pleasure and connection. Thanks for “Rehab” the mayor😁 a name which means in English “the open arms welcoming person”, she truly was in all aspects.

We had a wonderful stay at Nubian Farm. We arrived in Aswan really late at night and they still arranged to ferry us across the river and gave us a delicious lemon drink on arrival. The place is colourful and peaceful, and the breakfasts were hearty and delicious. Mahmoud was very helpful, spoke excellent English and organised a small day trip to the Nubian Village, Elephantine Island and the Botanical Gardens for us.
