Well set in San Francisco, The Clift Royal Sonesta San Francisco provides air-conditioned rooms, a fitness centre, free WiFi and a shared lounge. Location of the hotel is perfect. Services are excellent, especially the bell man services. Heddrick cafe morning breakfast was our daily best option.

Centrally located in heart of San Francisco city centre, this luxury boutique hotel is 5 minutes’ walk from Union Square and 2 minutes’ walk from the American Conservatory Theater. The room was big and spotless. Nicely decorated. Breakfast was delicious and the staff was incredible. Recommend staying here.

Staypineapple is a historic 1913 hotel located just 5 minutes' walk from vibrant Union Square. It offers a coffee and treats reception at check-in and free WiFi in all rooms. The facility is very nice looking, the location was great, very close to Powel-Hyde station in union square. What we liked the most about this hotel is their attention to detail. Rooms are small, but the are very cozy and comfortable. Lastly the staff was very polite and caring about our needs. It’s been an awesome experience.

Room: Beautiful, with huge windows and a nice view. The kitchen corner was equipped beyond my expectations! Plates, utensils, glasses, kitchen towels, even sponge and liquid for washing the dishes. The only thing missing was a kettle for tea, but you can repurpose the coffee maker. Very comfortable bed, big bathroom. They warned me at check-in that the cleaning will not be done every day, but it was sufficient for me. Location: Great, few min walk to the union square, close to some bus stops. Just avoid going to the direction of the problematic neighbourhood. The terrace lounge was very nice and cozy, possible to take tea, coffee or hot cocoa.
