This 4-star Downtown Charleston hotel is 3 minutes' walk of Charleston City Market and Waterfront Park. The hotel offers a rooftop pool with mosaic bottom, free WiFi, as well as 2 on-site restaurants.... This is the best hotel I have ever stayed at. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the rooms were beautiful and clean. We asked to have our two rooms close to each other - and at check-in we were asked if we wanted rooms on the same floor next to each other, or two rooms on separate floors with better views. We went with rooms with better views and this did not disappoint! Our teenage kids got a room with french door/windows overlooking the charleston market. Our room was just above - it did not have the french door/windows but the views were good too. The roof top pool and restaurant was great too! The Valet parking was convenient and we were not charged extra for it (though we did tip the driver of course). The hotel wasn't cheap, but I chose it initially because it was less expensive than many other boutique hotels in the area. This hotel felt very fancy and was in the perfect location. I think it was well worth the price and was great value considering all of the facilities and quality of the rooms included.

Overlooking Charleston City Market on Market Street, this historic French Quarter Inn welcomes guests with champagne at check-in and serves a free daily gourmet continental breakfast. The hotel was lovely and super convenient to the amazing markets and a great selection of restaurants, cafes and shops. The rooms are spacious and have an old world elegance. I really appreciated the extras like the champagne on arrival - what a great idea - and the wine and cheese hour and the milk (or port) and cookies. Staff could not have been more helpful. I've never experienced such hospitality and I've stayed at a lot of good places over the years. What a treat to end the holiday

This Charleston French Quarter art-focused hotel includes 2 hotels—19 Vendue and 26 Vendue—dating from 1780 and features rotating art exhibits and tours. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Hotel came with many perks like pastry in the morning, sherry/brownie in the afternoon, cookie at night. The interior decoration was awesome and the location could not be better.

The location was great-near the free bus stops and a reasonable grocery section in a nearby Target. The markets were only a few steps away, as were horse and carriage rides. Car parking was nearby. We would highly recommend.
