Hotel is right smack in the middle of a buzzing cultural hub with lots of nice eateries and cafes. All within walking distance. Great Value for money. Larger size room. Much bigger than others offered by surrounding hotels albeit at a lower price. Would recommend this as a great value for money stay.

It is pretty close to Bugis MRT station, especially if you are careful about your route and head, for example, via Beach Rd and Duo Apartments/Mall. There is really great live music at BluJaz and a pretty fun night life right nearby, and it really can't be beat for the price. But the best is the hostel staff. Several workers and managers are former employees at one of the five-star hotels in Singapore, and they do an outstanding job of customer service, personalized care, etc. I had the best time! They treated me like a rock star. Seriously it was a wonderful experience. Plus the hostel is set up very well. The pods are not overly stacked, so I never felt I was in anyone's way. The public area is well-furnished and there were fun late-night convos going on and some good socializing. The bathroom and shower facilities were great—and there are shoe lockers there so the practice of removing shoes is well thought out. I had a great time. Definitely suited me very well.
