Awanka Hotel, is located in San Miguel - Lima. It has a privileged location in a quiet area near the airport and in front of a park/plaza. The hotel is set next to a shopping mall and restaurants. The hotel was very clean, the staff was very helpful, especially after our wallet was stolen at the zoo.. Across from a park, but only 2 blocks from commercial.. We took this hotel to stay close to Lima airport without paying the prohibitive costs of the hotels in site. We were 20 minutes taxi away (45 soles with official green taxis and the driver picked us up the next morning to drive back. Staff was super helpful. We stayed in hotel & didn't go out.
