Parkview on Hagley overlooks Hagley Park in the centre of Christchurch. This 4-star hotel offers spacious suite-style accommodation, free internet and free parking within walking distance of the CBD. The rooms were well appointed with all the basic and modern amenities. Our room faced the park and the view in the morning from our was amazing. The price for the beautiful room just fitted our pocket. We paid $50 for breakfast at the counter which initially we thought was a lot but the buffet breakfast on the 3rd floor was extensive and the staff serving was lovely but he couldn’t understand english properly.

Hosts had thought of almost everything we could possibly need. Great information booklet provided and the key code access made everything very easy given we were (supposed to) arrive late at night. Thanks to Qantas we did not get there until mid day the following day !
