The accommodations were amazing. The room was warm and cozy. The building was beautiful and looked new and clean but, had the charm of an old traditional Japanese home. I came to snowboard and they had a room to store and dry all my wet gear. They were able to handle shipping my snowboard to and from the airport with Yamato transport. There is a direct bus to and from Shiga Kogen every day as well. There is not an onsen on site but, you can buy tickets to various local onsens, all of which were spectacular. All onsens had an indoor and outdoor bath. Breakfast was served every morning and, it was great to eat and chat with other travelers. Truly, the best part about staying here was the owners themselves. Yoshi and Seong-mi were two of the kindest, most friendly people I've encountered on any of my trips across the world. They made my experience feel like I was staying with my brother and sister. In fact, the whole town of Yudanaka felt like home to me and, I know this is a place I will never forget for the rest of my life.

Sakamoto-san was very accommodating in our SAKURA room for meals. will be sure to visit again. maybe stay in KIKU room?!?!

The staff are so helpful and nice. The outdoor onsen is fantastic, and we loved that we could reserve a private time there. The large sleeping/livingroom is super place to sleep and relax.

Yasuragi er lítil gistikrá með 6 herbergjum sem býður upp á Ryokan-máltíðir og notalegar innréttingar. The owners were super friendly and helpful. Their food was incredible and the Onsen was relaxational bliss.

Aburaya Tousen offers luxurious contemporary Japanese-style accommodation with an amazing 11 types of hot-spring baths and free WiFi. beautiful rooms with views of mountains. onsen and dining are superb

Hotel Tsubakino er í 3 mínútna göngufjarlægð frá Yudanaka-lestarstöðinni og býður upp á varmaböð innan- og utandyra með útsýni yfir snævi tinda fjallanna. Fantastic hot tubs in the roof. Extravagant breakfast.

Kamei-no-Yu er hefðbundið gistirými sem er umkringt fallegum japönskum garði og tjörnum. Það er bæði með varmaböð inni og úti. Ókeypis Wi-Fi Internet er í boði hvarvetna á gististaðnum. Tomo is the best! He is so friendly and accommodating. The property is beautiful and the rooms are perfect! The food was seriously some of the best we had in our entire 1 month stay in Japan. Onsens were gorgeous too!

A wonderful ryokan experience where every single detail is taken care of, it really looks like an animal crossing house where every piece belongs to a well thought vintage set ( in a good way, definitely) the family attending the business is very kind and the ofuros, while not the biggest, are perfect for a cozy feeling in the mountains

Located a 7-minute walk from Yudanaka Train Station, Hotel Housei offers free WiFi access, indoor/outdoor hot spring baths and air-conditioned Japanese-style rooms. Their services are awesome. the breakfast the array of choices is dazzling. staying in hotel housei make me feel the authentic Japanese culture, heart warm services and good food.
