The breakfast was amazing and the location of the hotel is excellent. It has a great view of the sumidha river and is really close to the metro station. Moreover, there are a lot of options for meals which make the stay all the more pleasent and worthwhile. The Hotel satff is extremely polite and helpfull and the rooms are comfortable beyond expectations.

Check in process was very easy, and super convenient to major stations Asakasa and Akihabara. Train stop is within a few minutes walk to the hotel. Would definitely recommend and come back for a stay on our next trip!

A 5-minute walk from the Ryogoku Kokugikan National Sumo Stadium, Dai-ichi Hotel Ryogoku offers a free shuttle to/from Tokyo Disney Resort. It looks very upscale. Bonus was free shuttle to Disney and back

The hotel is located in an area that is relatively quiet for Tokyo but still close to the Ryogoku station, which is served by the JR Chuo Sobu line. That means you can get to it by only using the JR pass and you can explore a bunch of Tokyo without even buying a subway ticket. There is only 2 rooms per floor, I believe, so almost no chance of noise from the neighbours. The room may be hot when you arrive but the airconditioning works very fast once turned on. When you walk to the hotel you will probably see real life sumo wrestlers in traditional yukata, as they all live in this area. Some might even come to the hotel for a coffee.

Just 150 metres from Asakusabashi Subway Station, Web Hotel Tokyo Asakusabashi offers non-smoking rooms with free WiFi access and wired internet and a flat-screen TV. Hotel was in a nice quiet area, close to many shops and a metro station, so it was very easy to move around the city. The staff was very kind every day. We stayed for a week and had a lovely stay. The room was small but that’s expected anywhere in Tokyo.

There was everything needed for a short stay. The cold glasses in the fridge melted my heart :) top location, close to the subway station. Nice area with good choice of places to eat and shop.

Conveniently located a 1-minute walk from Ryogoku Train Station, Ryogoku View Hotel offers rooms with a balcony and free WiFi. It was my first time staying at Ryogoku View Hotel, and I requested a bunk bed room for two people for a 7-night stay. The room was small but clean and well-ventilated since it had a balcony. The small size of the room wasn't an issue for us, but for persons over 6ft, it may feel quite cramped. The beds had stiff mattresses, which is great for your back, and a single pillow. I'm not sure if you can request more pillows. The bathroom was also small, with the toilet seat right in front of the door. It's a bit tight but again, not too much of an issue. Toiletries were available and the liquid bath soap, shampoo and conditioner was good enough that we didn't feel the need to purchase something different. The shower and bath was lovely since the water was heated at a consistent temperature. Overall, pretty good room and bath! The location of the hotel was the deciding factor when I booked it because it is right in front of Ryogoku station (JR line). All you need to do is cross a little street and walk less than a minute to get to the entrance to the front desk. It's also surrounded by convenience stores (A 7-11 and a NewDays at the station exit, and a Family Mart a little down the road) and has a great selection of restaurants nearby. The staff are wonderful at the hotel, and are so accommodating! We were allowed to store our luggage prior to check-in at 3PM, and even after the 11AM check-out. You just have to let them know what time you'll be around to pick up the luggage. Quick note-- Ryogoku station is on the JR Sobu line, which is a local line which means that it stops at every station on the line. To my knowledge, there are no other lines that stops at this station. To get there from Narita, we took the Keisei Narita Skyaccess line from Narita Airport Terminal 2/3 station to Asakusabashi station , and transferred to the JR Sobu line to Ryogoku Station. This all took about an hour.
