Located in Takayama, 22 miles from Takayama Station, Hotel Hirayunomori Annex provides accommodations with free WiFi and free private parking. The view was great, the beds were comfy, they gave us tickets to go to the main onsen which was amazing and they even rented us some snow shoes to go walking around the ski resort. Nice place to stay I recommend and I would come again.

Everything is good! The room is very clean, onsen are very big with nice scenery. Meal also very nice!

Fantastic staff that helped us cross the mountains the day when we were leaving, since there were unsafe driving conditions.

Nestled between untouched nature in the tranquil Northern Alps area, Hidaji offers spacious Japanese-style accommodations with traditional architecture. Hidaji was a very special and unforgettable experience, 100% worth it. We felt very pampered with my husband and the food was amazing, we ate like kings! There is lots to do around for nature lovers but you can also easily just stay in and enjoy the amenities and each other. We had a lot of privacy and felt as though we were alone most of the time even though the place was fully booked.

We can feel their devotes and well-welcomed minds. Language is not a problem. The place is very nice and cozy. Both dinner and breakfast are very good.

Minshuku Takizawa is located a 70-minute drive from Takayama City. Free private parking is available on site. I think here we had the best stay in our life :) A beautiful, traditional place in the heart of Japanese Alps. Very comfortable, clean and atmospheric. The food that was served was the highest level, delicious and the best we had in Japan. There are five private onsens, out of which two are outside to enjoy the nature and relax. We definitely recommend to anybody that would like to experience a real taste of traditional Japan.

Offering free flowing spring water from two different hot springs and ski storage space, Oyado Eitaro is set in the Okuhida Onsen district in Takayama. Free private parking is available on site. One stop shop to get an introduction to top class Hida cuisine. From the A5 wagyu to the soba, everything was perfectly served. The room and onsen gave a very traditional Japanese feel and we enjoyed it very very much.

Set amid a beautiful landscape in Okuhida Onsengo hot-spring area, Yamazatonoiori Soene offers beautiful rooms in a Japanese style with river or garden views. We love and enjoyed open air Onsen with Riverview, it was fabulous, even the kids love it as well. Traditional Japanese-style Dinner and breakfast were amazing.
