Situated in a tranquil area in Gifu Region, a 52-minute drive away from JR Takayama Station, Mozumo boasts a hot-spring bath and rooms decorated with modern Japanese interior. Stunning place between the mountains with natural hot springs. The hotel has secluded rooms with private pools with a wonderful view of the forest and garden. Spacious rooms with tatami mats, where they served us dinner and breakfast. The dinner was definitely a great experience and totally worth the money. The same goes for breakfast. Stuff was extremely attentive and really kind. Our biggest regret is that we have booked only one night.

I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who enjoy authentic Japanese style meals and hot spring. The family run this hotel with a lot of thoughtful care and hospitality. The traditional Japanese meals were authentic and served with fresh Hilda beef and local vegetables. As a hot spring lover, the hot spring were beyond expectation. There are private room and shared room for hot spring, and they all have great view of quiet forest. (It was snowy the day I came, and the experience of bathing hot spring in a snowy forest was superb.) The owners are very friendly and kind!

Offering free flowing spring water from two different hot springs and ski storage space, Oyado Eitaro is set in the Okuhida Onsen district in Takayama. Free private parking is available on site. One stop shop to get an introduction to top class Hida cuisine. From the A5 wagyu to the soba, everything was perfectly served. The room and onsen gave a very traditional Japanese feel and we enjoyed it very very much.

Tabist Kazeyuki in Takayama provides adults-only accommodation with free bikes, a garden and a shared lounge. Great location at very good facilities! I like the private onsen and huge room! We wish we could have stay for longer period. Great location for Shinhotaka ropeway and Kamikochi! The room was very clean and with a good view from the room window.

A 3-minute walk from Hirayu Onsen Bus Terminal, Okada Ryokan Warakutei features Japanese-style accommodations with mountain views. I and my husband enjoyed every minute of staying. We liked such as the location, services, breakfast, bath house at early in the morning and more for sure.

Nestled in the tranquil Hida Mountains, Miyama Ouan Kyoritsu Resort offers traditional accommodation featuring hot spring baths and nature views. Everything, we had a hot tube in the room and was amazing, free beer, free coffee, and free ramen. Private outside onsen was great

Very beautifully conceived and all hallways decorated with large vitrines with the most extravagant and beautiful pieces of antiques!! From beautiful sculptures and vases to exquisite carvings and other large and small objects!! Room very large (VERY large for Japanese conditions!!) very nicely decorated and comfortable!! Private Onsen bath on open air !!! What a pleasure!! Dinner and breakfast were SUPER!!! Absolute must to take dinner!!! Absolutely delicious for taste and eyes!!!
