Located in the historical town of Magome, Tajimaya features Japanese-style accommodations in a 110-year old building. Each room features a flat-screen TV, and guests can relax in the public bath. An authentic experience in a stunning post town on the Nakasendo trail. The hosts are very helpful and provide amazing food for dinner and breakfast as part of your stay. They are also excellent at allowing for dietary requests. The private onsen bath is also special. Highly recommended.

The host was super friendly and very helpful, even when we had some additional requests. Thanks so much for all the help! The rooms were veeery spacious (converted classrooms). The shared toilet & shower facilities were also very clean and nice—overall the building interior felt very new.

GUESTHOUSE YANAGIYA se află în cartierul Magome din Nakatsugawa, la 21 km de Parcul de agrement Enakyo Wonderland și la 41 km de Japan Taisho Village. this is the perfect stay in mag stay in magma. our host was incredibly friendly and made our stay very comfortable, giving us recommendations on where to eat and what to do during our stay. he also booked us a dinner spot at a local Michelin recommended restaurant we would have never found without him. the dinner was a chef private course and is highly recommended. the room was huge and felt very cozy. the shower and washing machine were a great delight to use. very clean and comfy. the location could have not been more perfect. right in the center of old-town magome. being able to walk alone on the streets in the morning before the first bus arrives is a truly priceless experience we had thanks to our stay here. would stay again!

A peaceful, clean, and beautiful accommodation with kind and helpful staff. Magome Chaya is located in an idyllic environment and we received lots of help with navigation and relevant information for our hikes. We also ate two of the most wonderful dinners here and slept like babies on our futons. The pillows were especially lovely! What a wonderful stay!
