I stayed in the futon room with mountain views. Waking up early and watching the sun rise over Mount Ena was definitely a highlight of my trip.

The host was super friendly and very helpful, even when we had some additional requests. Thanks so much for all the help! The rooms were veeery spacious (converted classrooms). The shared toilet & shower facilities were also very clean and nice—overall the building interior felt very new.

The owner is very friendly and helpful, we really enjoyed our stay here. It’s very comfy and spacious and in a historic home. :)

Hanya 40 meter dari kota pasca era Edo yang telah dipugar Magome-Juku, Chaya Hotel memiliki kamar-kamar tradisional yang sederhana dengan tempat tidur futon dan lantai tikar tatami. A peaceful, clean, and beautiful accommodation with kind and helpful staff. Magome Chaya is located in an idyllic environment and we received lots of help with navigation and relevant information for our hikes. We also ate two of the most wonderful dinners here and slept like babies on our futons. The pillows were especially lovely! What a wonderful stay!
