Everything was just so great in this hotel. They have very nice scenery and beautiful onsen. The breakfast and dinner are both delicious. We would like express our gratitude the staff at the hotel. I have inadvertently left a down jacket at the hotel. They kept it nicely and helped me to send it back home.

Built in 1722, Okyakuya is situated in the historical district of Kurokawa Onsen district. Located only 100 metres from Kurokawa Onsen, Free WiFi is provided and private parking is available on site. My parents and I have the very great time in the hotel. The dinner and breakfast is very delicious. The waiters is very friendly and introduce very well. We want to stay here for the next time. The guest come from Taiwan.

Located in the centre of Kurokawa Onsen, Oyado Noshiyu offers outdoor and indoor hot-spring baths, Japanese-style accommodations and a traditional teahouse. It was excellent! It was the highlight of our trip! Everything was amazing and very relaxing. Excellent location, accommodation, Onsen, staff, food, everything!

Situated in the centre of the Kurokawa Onsen Area and boasting a total of 8 indoor/outdoor hot spring baths, Nanjoen offers traditional Japanese-style accommodation with tatami (woven-straw) flooring... Gorgeous traditional ryokan, with beautifully appointed rooms—we had one of the en-suite onsen baths, and I highly recommend it! The dinners and breakfasts were sumptuous and almost too much food, all very delicious. The staff is friendly, impeccable, and very helpful. The area itself is also lovely, with plenty of shops and nearby onsens to explore.

Boasting spacious indoor and outdoor hot spring baths surrounded by lush greenery, Ryokan Wakaba provides Japanese-style accommodation in the peaceful mountain area. Excellent Ryokan, a perfect stay… Rooms spacious (northern annex), and wondefully appointed, with all the comforts (japanese style futons, but extremely comfortable). Personal onsen was an adequate size (it is possible to reserve other private onsen at the ryokan). Fantastic, cozy closed verandah by the river…. All was immaculately clean, and futons are removed/laid during breakfast/dinner. All meals in Kaiseki style were excellent and in a two night stay there was a different menu on the second day. All personnel was extremely nice, polite and attentive. Star of the show was the rotemburo, perfectly set in a secluded part of a “valley”, protected by trees, at the same time private and airy (compared to other rotemburo we visited on our onsen hop, much better). Location is great, near the main road but totally silent at all times, and about 5 mins walk to the centre of the village (a bit of a climb on the way back) Would return again tomorrow and two days stay was absolutely not too much….

Only a 5-minute walk from the centre of Kurokawa hot-spring district, Ryokan Ichinoi offers Japanese-style accommodations with Japanese Yukata robes. Very nice hospitality of staff and authentic service with true ryokan experience. Tasty food dishes for both dinner and breakfast. The public onsen has an indoor and outdoor bath, the latter having a really nice atmosphere due to the natural surroundings. Although we had no private bathroom, the room was large, very clean, silent and comfortable overall.

Kurokawa Mori No Kiki se află în cartierul Kurokawa Onsen din Minamioguni, la 41 km de Muntele Aso și la 49 km de Lacul Kinrinko. We were really happy with our stay. The host was very helpful, professional and friendly. The furniture and all appliances are of high quality and felt luxurious. The private onsen was very nice as well. The house is located remotely and has a unique and exclusive feel to it. All in all we felt that we had a special stay.

Featuring a bar, Kurokawa Onsen Gosyo Gekkoujyu offers rooms in Minamioguni, less than 1 km from Kurokawa Onsen. This 5-star ryokan offers free shuttle service. It was an amazing experience, the staff really went above and beyond to accommodate my friends and I on our graduation trip. Highly highly recommend to anyone on the fence about going, we were treated like kings and it was the single most memorable thing about our 3 week trip to Japan.
