Everything was just so great in this hotel. They have very nice scenery and beautiful onsen. The breakfast and dinner are both delicious. We would like express our gratitude the staff at the hotel. I have inadvertently left a down jacket at the hotel. They kept it nicely and helped me to send it back home.

Inn NOSHIYU se nachází v destinaci Minamioguni a poskytuje vířivku a ubytování s bezplatným Wi-Fi a kuchyňským koutem. Sopka Aso je 40 km odtud. I like the facilities where they equipnwith various type of onsen. Open and closed onsen are awesome.

Located in the centre of Kurokawa Onsen, Oyado Noshiyu offers outdoor and indoor hot-spring baths, Japanese-style accommodations and a traditional teahouse. It was excellent! It was the highlight of our trip! Everything was amazing and very relaxing. Excellent location, accommodation, Onsen, staff, food, everything!

Nanjoen se nachází v centru oblasti Kurokawa Onsen a může se pochlubit celkem 8 vnitřními i venkovními termálními lázněmi. Nabízí tradiční ubytování v japonském stylu s tatami (tkaná sláma). Gorgeous traditional ryokan, with beautifully appointed rooms—we had one of the en-suite onsen baths, and I highly recommend it! The dinners and breakfasts were sumptuous and almost too much food, all very delicious. The staff is friendly, impeccable, and very helpful. The area itself is also lovely, with plenty of shops and nearby onsens to explore.

Boasting spacious indoor and outdoor hot spring baths surrounded by lush greenery, Ryokan Wakaba provides Japanese-style accommodation in the peaceful mountain area. Excellent Ryokan, a perfect stay… Rooms spacious (northern annex), and wondefully appointed, with all the comforts (japanese style futons, but extremely comfortable). Personal onsen was an adequate size (it is possible to reserve other private onsen at the ryokan). Fantastic, cozy closed verandah by the river…. All was immaculately clean, and futons are removed/laid during breakfast/dinner. All meals in Kaiseki style were excellent and in a two night stay there was a different menu on the second day. All personnel was extremely nice, polite and attentive. Star of the show was the rotemburo, perfectly set in a secluded part of a “valley”, protected by trees, at the same time private and airy (compared to other rotemburo we visited on our onsen hop, much better). Location is great, near the main road but totally silent at all times, and about 5 mins walk to the centre of the village (a bit of a climb on the way back) Would return again tomorrow and two days stay was absolutely not too much….

Ryokan Ichinoi se nachází pouhých 5 minut chůze od centra termální čtvrti Kurokawa a nabízí ubytování v japonském stylu s japonskými župany Yukata. Very nice hospitality of staff and authentic service with true ryokan experience. Tasty food dishes for both dinner and breakfast. The public onsen has an indoor and outdoor bath, the latter having a really nice atmosphere due to the natural surroundings. Although we had no private bathroom, the room was large, very clean, silent and comfortable overall.

Kurokawa Mori No Kiki se nachází ve čtvrti Kurokawa Onsen v destinaci Minamioguni. Sopka Aso se nachází 41 km odtud a Jezero Kinrinko 49 km. We were really happy with our stay. The host was very helpful, professional and friendly. The furniture and all appliances are of high quality and felt luxurious. The private onsen was very nice as well. The house is located remotely and has a unique and exclusive feel to it. All in all we felt that we had a special stay.

It was an amazing experience, the staff really went above and beyond to accommodate my friends and I on our graduation trip. Highly highly recommend to anyone on the fence about going, we were treated like kings and it was the single most memorable thing about our 3 week trip to Japan.
