Offering Japanese-style rooms with river views and an en suite bath, Takao Kanko Hotel is 600 metres from Jingo-ji Temple. It is a beautiful location, easily reached by bus and an easy walk. The staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly. The food is excellent. The walking around the hotel is lovely. The riverside patio is gorgeous. The hotel provided a free shuttle at the end of our stay. We loved everything about this experience.

Along the Kiyotakigawa River, Momojiya Annex offers traditional rooms with a private open-air bath and forest views. It features public baths and free wired internet in public areas. The place is magical. Hidden in the forest, with beautiful river. Our room was spacious, with tatami floor and small private garden with hot bathtube. Meals were delicious. Staff was very helpfull and friendly. It was perfect stay.

A 10-minute drive from Kinkaku-ji Temple, Ryokan Yamazaki offers a hot public bath and serves breakfast and traditional dinners for an additional fee. I enjoyed this experience at the Ryokan Yamazaki! I definitely recommended this place. I also recommended the restaurant as well. The food is tasty especially the Japanese breakfast was fantastic. The staff were friendly enough and there is a beautiful little garden outside (perfect to take picture) see you soon !!! Again thank you
