Perfectly located in a quiet neighbourhood and only a 7mins walk to Kyoto Kyocera Museum. Staffs are energetic, friendly and always eager to help. Calm and tasteful interior, woody scent, quiet, beautiful outdoor garden. Lovely spacious room with open bath, comfortable bed, relaxing atmosphere, fun teaware to play with. Breakfast was beautiful and plentiful. Kaiseki dinner of the inhouse restaurant was also delicious and well presented.

Hotel Okura Kyoto Okazaki Bettei -Age Requirement 12 over- ligger i Kyoto och har ett fitnesscenter, en trädgård, en restaurang och en bar. Amazing service. People, who work there are so attentive, helpful, going out of their way to do something to fulfill your needs.

Before starting the trip, tadashi-san got really involved with us and helped us with all our questions. He was really kind and helpful. His guesthouse is incredible, an authentic ryokan experience. Please if you are going to stay in Tadashi's guesthouse be polite and kind, he is a really good person and he will help you with everything. His wife Yuki-san is also lovely!

Our favourite stay during our trip to Japan. The hosts were very welcoming and always happy to help us with our questions! I would recommend this guest house to anybody considering to visit Kyoto. It is located in a quiet neighbourhood, but not too far from some major tourist attractions. The hosts also suggested a walk around the neighbourhood with some lovely quiet/calm temples.

Situated in Kyoto, 800 metres from Heian Shrine, Hotel Material features rooms with free WiFi access. Nice accomodation, very helpful host and the roof top terrace is really awesome for sunset. The Ramen restaurant on first floor and the okonomoyaki restaurant around the corner are quite good. To Gion you walk 10 Minutes and you can reach castle, shopping street quite fast by food as well, bus stop is either close. We really loved the stay there. So we totalley recommend it.

The resort hotel in Kyoto and offering free WiFi throughout, The Westin Miyako features indoor pool, a fitness center and spa treatments. Loved the location, the room size was large, the property was beautiful, the onsen was amazing, the gardens are lovely!

THE HOTEL HIGASHIYAMA by Kyoto Tokyu Hotel ligger i Kyoto och har ett fitnesscenter, en trädgård, en terrass och en restaurang. It was the best hotel we stayed in during our trip in Japan. Its aesthetic was amazing, combining traditional and modern interior design. The room was super clean and comfortable. The stuff was polite and helpful. The location was very convenient for sightseeing at Gion and Northern Higashiyama. Even if it’s not central, it offers a free shuttle bus hourly to Kyoto station that we used everyday. We’d definitely choose this hotel again in the future.

Tassel Hotel Sanjo Shirakawa har ett perfekt läge i området Higashiyama Ward i Kyoto, 6 minuters promenad från Samurai Kembu Kyoto, 1 km från Heian-helgedomen och 15 minuters promenad från Gion Shijo... Great ambiance, intimate yet spacious modern Japanese style small hotel of approx 20 rooms. Large, light and airy room for Japan with tatami mat floor, comfy beds, clean and beautifully appointed. Staff very friendly but unobtrusive. Delightfully peaceful location on edge of temple district beside a small stream with private residences on the other side. Free evening drinks in lounge/dining area after 6pm - nice touch to return to after a hard day sightseeing.
