I’m so lucky to have been able to live in such a nice and cozy house in Kyoto, it felt like a second home. Surrounded by beautiful nature and far away from the hustle and bustle of the city, I was fully relaxed here.

Ang Ohara no Sato Onsen ay isang minshuku o Japanese-style private home na nagtatampok ng mga original miso-based hot pot dish. The place is beautiful and relaxing. The food has a great taste and is perfect for the cold weather. The onsen is perfect, very relaxing and clean.

Beautiful ryokan in a lovely place.Ohara and the valley is peaceful and charming. The staff were very helpful and kind and the dinner and breakfast delicious. Fell in love with their dog ♥️Just an hour bus ride from central Kyoto. Go if you can! We hope to be back one day...
