Super comphy with everything you need while traveling, washing machine, kettle for your coffee, and microwave oven. Spacious with a big bed. Kinkakuji is very close, so you could be there before being crowded. The owner is a nice and helpful guy.

He welcomed us with some snacks and drinks in the fridge, and helped us plan our travels for the next few days and with arranging our luggages for transport to the next hotel. + size as it fits at least a family of four + mix of modern and traditional structure + facilities and appliances + heaters at every corner of the villa + Netflix on TV + picturesque gardens + distance from bus station + welcome snacks and drinks in the fridge + owner’s and staff’s hospitality

Great little apartment, great location and we even got picked up from the station on arrival and dropped back when we left which was most appreciated given our heavy back packs. A quiet part of Kyoto and right next door to an amazing temple. The home was very spacious and well maintained. All of the accessories were there and they even provided some tea and coffee and snacks. Very nice hosts and great communication. There are several restaurants and cafes as well as several temples all within walking distance. Highly recommend!
