Below are the positives about the property, but more than those it was the hospitality of the owner, Mamoru-san, that won as over. A quiet part of Kyoto and right next door to an amazing temple. The home was very spacious and well maintained. All of the accessories were there and they even provided some tea and coffee and snacks. Very nice hosts and great communication. There are several restaurants and cafes as well as several temples all within walking distance. Highly recommend!
