Kalaonda Plemmirio is a complex made up of restored 19th-century buildings set just 800 metres from the sea and with its own outdoor pool. Syracuse is just 9km away. Great hotel, atmosphere. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Comfortable beds and quiet location. Located not far from beach, shop and restaurants.

Fornecendo vista da piscina em Siracusa, Masseria Testaferrata fornece acomodações, um jardim, um terraço, um restaurante e um bar. A tranquilidade do local é excepcional. Não se houve um ruído sequer, a não ser o canto dos pássaros. O hotel se desenvolve ao redor da sede restaurada de uma antiga fazenda, e os novos apartamentos foram construídos de maneira a darem a impressão de sempre terem estado lá. O quarto é moderno, muito bem equipado, bem confortável, embora não muito grande - goiabas o suficiente. Todos os funcionários são gentis e solícitos. O café da manhã é muito bom, com muitos produtos de origem do próprio hotel, ou local. O iogurte, por exemplo, não é daqueles em copinhos comuns em hotéis - ele é fornecido "a granel" por um vizinho do hotel! Apesar de fora da cidade, o acesso é fácil e rápido. Em menos de quinze minuta de carro já estamos em Siracusa. Valeu demais a experiência!!!

We would like to particularly emphasise the support of Sebastiano and his sister during a medical emergency involving my wife. They called the emergency doctor and arranged for transport to the hospital. It was possible to book another night for the regeneration of my wife. All in all feel very safe and secure. Apresentando uma piscina exterior, um jardim, um salão partilhado e um terraço, Villa Vella encontra-se na área de Plemmirio, em Siracusa, apenas a 1,9 km de Praia Piscina Naturale. This is a superb villa and a cherished family home. Every detail has been carefully considered. In fact, we found that the photographs and description undersold the property. The pool is large and lovely. The extensive gardens hide charming corners to sit and enjoy the peace. The welcome from Maria and her son, Giuseppe was fast, professional and caring. Maria was available next door should we have needed anything, but perfectly discreet. We were a party of four adults and felt lucky to have found Villa Vella at the last moment. There are several seating areas within the vast lounge, two dining areas, a giant kitchen, a fireplace, an office(!), a downstairs double room and family bathroom, plus 3 fully ensuite double bedrooms upstairs, each with a balcony and a view. Very comfortable premises. Outside there are plenty of tables, sun beds, BBQ area and so forth (plus that giant inflatable flamingo...) AND a well-equipped gym with running machine, cycling machine etc. etc. Oh, and a huge sun-room with sofas. Every manner of kitchen utensil, dishes, ovens etc., for self-catering (should you wish) and even a take-away eatery and grocery store 50 metres around the corner. Peaceful, perfect. We don't like giving 10/10 because it looks fake. However, when you consider the competition and what this property offers, 10/10 overall is the only realistic option. 8/10 for location because you are in the countryside (sort of) and a 1km walk to the sea and restaurants which might mean you take the car, rather than walk. If you like peace, then this is ideal. 20 minutes into Ortygia depending on the traffic, but easy. Recommended without hesitation. If you bring kids, you will worry (because of the pool and fish pond and rocks and rope-ladders) and they will go mad with happiness (for all the same reasons, plus some tiny caves to hide in!)

We had an amazing stay at Plemmirio Apartment. The host, Denis, is very kind and helpful as well as his father. We had everything we needed, felt welcome from the beginning and felt the most relaxed here during our one-week trip. The apartment is located near the coast and a marine protected area, which guarantees priscine waters. We also loved having breakfast in the morning sun, and a comfy couch to cozy up on in the evening. Would come back here 😊

Nice house with huge deck overlooking the sea. Beautiful sunsets and sunrises on the deck. Nice garden and private forest with lovely scent of pine trees. Very quiet and private property in the Natural Preserve area. Very close to Siracusa, Ortiga and lovely beaches. Bedrooms are huge with very comfortable mattresses and nice views. Kitchen well equipped with good quality of pots, pens, utensils. Serena is a very nice, welcoming, friendly and caring host. She was very helpful and always available, even offered to drive to the house, asking if we needed anything, during the 3 day storm when it was a short blackout in the area. Great stay, and highly recommended place.
