This charming hotel is ideally located in the heart of Palermo, between historical buildings and right in front of the Teatro Massimo, one of the most important European theatres. A lovely small hotel in the city historical center, own by a nice and wellcoming family. They offered transport from the airport which was very convenient, since we arrived at midnight. The room was clean and had a little balcony facing the main pedestrian street.

Set in Palermo’s historical area, Hotel Moderno offers a convenient central location on one of the city’s main streets. It is just a 10-minute walk from Palermo Station and Cathedral. There were no sheets on the bed. We had to make our own bed

Our room had a balcony with a lovely view of quiet backstreets. Big bathrooms with very nice products. The kitchen has an espresso machine and citrus juicer. Silvia was a very accommodating and friendly host. Delicious dolci on arrival in the room: so good that we went in search of the pasticceria for more!
