Less than 50 metres from Ischia’s beaches, Hotel Maronti is a 5-minute drive from Barano d'Ischia. It offers a traditional restaurant, a bar and a sun terrace. A sweet breakfast is provided daily. Kind, welcoming and helpful host in Ernesto. Attentive and informative, making sure that you were enjoying your stay, being very patient with my terrible Italian, suggesting places to go and things to see and even taking time to explain the humble beginnings of the hotel and his family’s involvement. Getting to the hotel very straight forward, despite being opposite the main ‘hubs’ of the island, owing to the excellent public transport. Room very comfortable with all of the basic amenities, cleaned to a high standard every morning whilst you dine on the excellent breakfast in the beautiful gardens. My visit was the end of April/beginning of May, so for the majority of my stay it felt like I was the only guest! Maronti Beach on the south side of the island felt similarly deserted. This is no criticism, it was absolutely perfect for me but worth mentioning for other guests that may want more hustle and bustle or for other solo travellers who may feel uncomfortable. I won’t put it in the negatives because it’s absolutely understandable, but dinner wasn’t served for the duration of my stay (one week). A slight disappointment as I had heard very good things about the dinners but, as explained by Ernesto, servings don’t start until higher season when it can be justified. To clarify, the booking was for B & B, so I can’t complain. I will definitely return to experience the food. There are plenty of excellent food options a very short walk from the hotel, along the beach front, so nothing lost ultimately. Overall, I can’t recommend this hotel enough. Perfect for my first visit to this amazing part of the Word, one I hope to return to.

The Hotel Parco Smeraldo Terme with its outdoor and indoor thermal swimming pools is directly located on Maronti Beach, one of the most beautiful in Ischia. I have been 3 times already in this beautiful hotel, and can say only warm words for stuff, service and obviously location!!! Met my friends from Switzerland who is coming already 13 times in Parco Smeraldo so nothing to add , it is amazing hotel!

Situated right on the beach in Ischia, Hotel Angelino features an outdoor pool in its garden and views of the sea. The hotel has a sun terrace, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant. Beautiful, timeless hotel right on the beach, gorgeous views. Excellent breakfast, wonderful service from a charming family. Meals, beach, everything was outstanding. There’s a private rooftop pool and a sauna in addition to the hot springs Roman bath spa 5 mins away on a footpath.

With a seafront location, Hotel Regina del Mare features a panoramic terrace and an outside thermal pool with sun loungers and parasols. It is located on Ischia Island. The beach lays at the foot of the hotel and right behind there is a path leading to roman hot springs - or to San Angelo - both wonderful places to visit. You can also catch a taxi-boat and take a ride, instead of walking around the hill.

Set in central Barano d'Ischia, Hotel La Luna features a large garden with swimming pool, plus a spa centre. Parking and WiFi in public areas are free of charge. A very nice family hotel which is being refurbished, with comfier rooms, a pool and sunbathing and bar area, sauna and massage offer. The staff were absolutely brilliant - so friendly and helpful (especially Mihaela in the dining area and Luisa in reception). The beach is a 5-minute drive away, and the hotel offers transport to and from if required. They also drive you to and from the port area and will easily call a car if you want to get anywhere else on the island.

This hotel is located next to Maronti Beach, 1.5 km along the coast from Sant'Angelo. It offers access to a private beach, thermal pools, hydromassage showers and a sauna. Beautiful hotel with stunning views of the sea. Perfect location. The staff was so friendly & very helpful.

Set in a restored 18th-century villa, Albergo Villa Giusto has sea views over Ischia's Maronti Bay. I liked being up and away from downtown. The property was beautiful, the room was small but had everything we needed. Host went above and beyond for us.

Hotel San Giorgio Terme overlooks Maronti Beach, the largest beach in Ischia. It offers 2 sun terraces with views of the bay, and free access to its private beach area and to its new wellness centre. You won't find a more beautiful place on this planet.

Set on Maronti Beach, La Gondola is a hotel with a thermal spa and pool in Barano d'Ischia. It offers free Wi-Fi, a restaurant and traditionally furnished rooms with a terrace and Tyrrhenian Sea... The location is fantastic ! It’s a short walk on wooden walkway to hotel.As you walk Along the beach, there are many little restaurants to choose from, but we mainly ate at laGondola. Food was delicious! Staff is amazing. Everyone is very kind and accommodating. Our rooms opened to a large shared terrace.so beautiful ! Theres the warm thermal pool ,hot pool in the grotto and my favorite The natural sauna in the cave, then its only a few steps to the sea. It’s really all inclusive if you just want to stay and relax, but easy enough to get a bus or cab if you want to explore island. It was exactly what I was looking for! Beautiful for solo travelers couples or families!I loved it!❤️
