Set in the historic Bergamo Alta area, Il Sole offers a restaurant serving traditional dishes and pizza from the wood-burning oven. The modern rooms come with free Wi-Fi and mountain views. Exellent, great location in the old town. The hotel staff was attentive, helpful, quick to answer all our questions and fulfill all our wishes. The breakfast area is very cozy with interesting interiors and the breakfast table was exelent served in beautiful dishes. Food enough could only be supplemented with vegetables, eggs. Host is very attentive, helpful, communicative personality and tried to cheer us up with delicious Cappuccino coffee every morning.The room for 3 people was spacious, clean and met our expectations - thank you to all the hotel staff.

A stunning property, a gorgeous and comfortable room with a breathtaking view, very central location within the picturesque historic town of Bergamo, delicious breakfast. Alessandra and Barbara are two lovely ladies who made us feel very welcome. We were also visiting with my car as part of a long road trip around Italy. It was very easy to park in front of the hotel and drop off some luggage. The parking is then very close to the hotel, I left the keys to the parking personnel and the car was full of heavy luggage and shopping bags. If you intend to do the same, you have nothing to worry about because the parking is very safe.
