I really appreciated: - the comfort, with good mattress and pillows - good bathroom with powerful shower with warm water available all the time, toilet paper, soap / shampoo, towels - nice balcony - mineral water provided every day free of charge - fridge, kettle and mugs / glasses were present in my room - the location, a couple of hundred meters from palolem main beach, accessed via a narrow sand path - nice restaurants and shops in the area - possible to pay by card (with very small additional fee) or cash Above all, the host is amazing, a very kind and knowledgeable woman, she gave me suggestions for where to eat (good recommendations), she booked a scooter for me, and helped arranging transport.

Nestled along the sun-kissed shores of Palolem, our stay at the side sea view room was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and impeccable service from the fabulous staff. Perched on the edge of the beach, it was fabulous to dip in the sea at will or watch the gorgeous sunset in the evenings. The room itself was elegantly furnished and comfortable. The private balcony was the ideal spot to unwind. But what truly set this experience apart was the exceptional hospitality of the staff. From the moment we checked in, they went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. The breakfast and rest of the food was lovely too. Will definitely want to keep coming back.

Situated in Palolem, 80 metres from Palolem beach, Hilias Retreat boasts air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. The property has also been recently renovated. We loved our stay here, comfortable clean rooms, good location. Hilias was one is the most caring accomodating hosts I've ever had. They have great pugs too!!!

Often you can hear the waves and the sound of the jungle which was very cool. The place offers nice yoga classes although be aware they are not included in the price of your stay. Overall amazing peaceful experience.

Such great value for money- the place it's self was super comfortable, big comfy bed. I loved having a fridge and my own personal balcony. Not to mention your 30 seconds away from the beach, and even so, it's actually extremely quiet in the room you do not feel like your on the main road at all. The staff are so helpful with everything I needed, even if I didn't ask for it! really exceptional service. It's also right nextdoor to a place where you can get cash back (form of atm) and a SIM card which honestly was so convenient and necessary because the next ATM was far. Couldn't have picked a better place.
