Right by a park and conveniently located near a underground station. Not only that but the attached pub and dining space had some amazing food options. The staff was exceptionally helpful and all around pleasant, they even called my room when I left a set of air buds in the dinning space for breakfast and helped me get it back. All around a wonderful place to stay at.

With en suite rooms and free Wi-Fi, Gateway Hotel is 150 metres from Clapham South Tube Station, a short walk from the open green space of Clapham Common. The room was very clean (and cleaned every day of my stay, with changed sheets/towels too), in a very nice little hotel right very close to underground so travelling to and from the city was exceptionally easy. The staff is very helpful, you've got free tea, coffee and biscuits; all the necessary facilities/amenities, etc. Overall, a very pleasant stay for a female solo traveler who's never been to London before:)

The place itself was very well appointed and you had everything you needed to make your stay comfortable. The place was large, comfortable, lots of natural light and secure. It is close to the high street in Clapham and the District line tube station. (less than 5 minutes away). There is a large Sainsbury, Boots and several restaurants and coffee shops within a 5 minute walk.

The kitchen was fully equipped like at home; delightful sitting room and nice bedrooms, lovely bedrooms and spacious bathroom, a little outdoor area for morning yoga; we felt right at home.
