Ein sehr schickes Apartment, das für drei Personen geeignet ist, ganz zentral in Portobello Beach! Wir waren leider nur für eine Nacht dort. Das Apartment entfaltet sein Qualitäten wahrscheinlich erst vollständig, wenn man mehrere Nächte bleibt: es ist komplett und qualitativ gut ausgestattet und in einem Stil eingerichtet, der auch im Apartment Urlaubsstimmung erzeugt. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr freundlich.

It was an amazing experience to stay at Straven Guesthouse. I felt at home, the bed was very comfortable and the room was beautiful and warm. Breakfast was a whole variety of delicious dishes, home made and beautiful. The sea front is only a few steps away and I enjoyed walking along the sea promenade to the cafés - and walking along the sea shore. I felt looked after and cared for by Sinead and Chris. The apartment is lovely…looking out directly onto the beach. There are a lot of stairs being third floor. Not for the fainthearted or those expecting to do a lot of cooking (carrying bags up those stairs would be hard)! But location wise, bang on. Over the top of a cafe and pub. Hot evenings so plenty on the beach till late but not terribly noisy. Exactly what you want for a break…we had breakfast at the cafe and lunch at the pub!

The owner went above and beyond to help us. I forgot my license in the US and had to have it 48 hr shipped. The owner was so sweet and hospitable she can back early from her vacation to help out. Cottage was beautiful. Close to the bus station. Take to 124 to city center.

We traveled 4000 miles to be with family for a holiday, and found ourselves very comfortable, with plenty of room, enjoying amazing views, and in a great location! The public bus was so easy to catch and take around, we absolutely made the most of our stay.

Der Vermieter ist sehr zuvorkommend und kümmert sich aufmerksam um die Wohnung und die Gäste. Die Erreichbarkeit der Innenstadt mit dem fast vor dem Haus abfahrenden Bus Nr. 26 ist toll. Meer und Strand direkt ums Eck und unmittelbar zu Fuß erreichbar.

We had a lovely stay at the Beach house, it's in a great spot, right on the beachfront in Portobello which was such a treat. Two good sized double rooms with comfy beds, a bathroom with a huge walk in shower and a kitchen/living room space for hanging out in. Plus a lovely helpful host too! Thanks for having us ❤️

We loved the location! Same block as the beach... it doesn't get much better than that! Being in a first-floor flat was also good for us, and we were thrilled with all of the kid friendly amenities. The books, toys, kid potty seat, and indoor swing were all huge hits with our kids (4 and 2) and made our stay all the more pleasant.
