Situated on the edge of the pedestrian area, this family-run hotel provides the ideal base for exploring the historical highlights of Freiburg. WiFi is free for guests. Employees are very friendly and helpful. Room cleaning was very good. The staff always tries to do their best. Room condition was very good, breakfast was good and sufficient. It is very close to the city center, very close to shopping centers, it is possible to stop by the hotel while touring the city center. 12 minutes walking distance from the central train station. There is a supermarket right next to it that is open until 22:00. Nearby, it is possible to find a restaurant open until late.

This hotel lies in the heart of Freiburg, directly at the cathedral square. Unbeatable location. Clean renewed rooms. We got one with a view to the cathedral.

Detta hotell ligger i en historisk byggnad och erbjuder charmigt boende i hjärtat av Freiburg, nära alla de främsta sevärdheterna såsom Freiburgs katedral. Very nice hotel right in the old town and close to a lot of cute shops. Getting there was easy using the tram. The staff was very nice and friendly, allowed me to check in when I arrived even though it was a bit before the official check in time. The classic double room was more than large enough for one person, clean, comfortable, newly renovated, and modern. Great value and highly recommended!

Det familjeägda Gasthaus Löwen har ett bekvämt läge i Freiburgs gamla stadsdel. Im Breisgau ligger 100 meter från Freiburgs domkyrka. Location is key. They are just right inside the old city and you can reach the most beautiful arquitecture just walking. The reception/Bar staff was Amazing and so kind. They made my staying there so much better. The girl who checked me in just did it at 9 pm because my train arrived late and they didn’t hesitate to show me my room and also explain to me about breakfast time and the facilities like the showers, etc. They knew that I would stay for the 1st of May and my train back to Paris would leave on May 2nd at 6 am and they just let my breakfast at the door to go( sandwich and coffee) since I wouldn’t be able to get breakfast at the hotel hours for my very early checkout. So Five stars to this amazing Staff.
