Dating back to 1888, this hotel is located in Dresden's residential district of Strehlen. It offers elegant rooms and the Grosser Garten park is 600 metres away. Did not have breakfast. Bed very comfortable and fridge very useful. Male receptionist spoke excellent English and recommended a German restaurant across the road. We wanted to try one. Very good recommendation indeed. Hotel near tram/bus stop and short walk to S bahn Station. Would stay again.
