With a bar, the hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom.... It was our second stay, this time with wife and baby daughter. We came back from dinner and asked for hot water for the baby food. Instead of simply giving us hot water they offered a water kettle. Great service, nice staff, location in a quiet part but still close enough to all the Neustadt bars, restaurants and shops.

This 4-star hotel is an 18th-century building located 1640 feet from the River Elbe, opposite Dresden’s historic Old Town district. The hotel was beautifully decorated for the holiday season. The staff was very helpful, courteous, and efficient. We were one block from Augustus Christmas holiday market. It had the best breakfast on our trip of three cities. When you start off your day, we a glass of Proseco, what more can you ask for?

Set in a historical building with a pretty courtyard, Hofgarten 1824 Hotel garni is just 1640 feet from Neustadt Train Station and a 10-minute walk from Dresden’s Old Town. Great location, just a few steps from Dresden Neustadt Station. The lobby was very charming and there were fresh fruits available for free. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean.
