Conti Hotel on perheomisteinen moderni hotelli, joka sijaitsee Kölnin kaupungin keskustassa Belgialaisen korttelin sydämessä. Very nice hotel with a personal touch, very nice staff in the reception. Helpful with good practical tips. Good breakfast and the location is great. The room was good but the bed was a bit worn and I could feel a dip in the middle of the bed. Now I am working with beds and have very strict ideas about how a bed should feel. For sure I will try to book same hotel next time I visit Cologne :)

This hostel is located in the heart of Cologne’s trendy Belgian Quarter, 2 km from Cologne Cathedral and the Rhine Embankment. Hostel die Wohngemeinschaft offers free Wi-Fi and design interiors. The beds were extremely comfortable, staff were very kind and helpful, and everything was very clean. I loved the themed rooms, and everything was well laid out.

Housed in a historic building, Blue Edition Cologne offers accommodation with a bar and free WiFi in Cologne, 1.4 km from Volksgarten Park. We loved how the place was furnished and the creativity put into every detail. Very close to public transport (10 min to the bus stop, 15 min bus ride to the main station) and close to some shops and restaurants. Definitely would stay again next time we are in Köln!

Set within less than 1 km of Volksgarten Park and a 15-minute walk of Neumarkt Square Cologne in Cologne, aTa & oMo offers accommodation with seating area. The host was very friendly and made me feel very welcomed. She also gave me a good explanation on surroundings such as restaurants, cafes etc and made sure that I will have a good stay. The room was very clean and charming. It has almost everything I needed for the long weekend stay. Thank you also for the nice easter chocolate which I found at my door as a surprise :-)

Offering city views, Apartment in der Yogaschule is an accommodation located in Cologne, 1.6 km from National Socialism Documentation Centre and 1.6 km from Theater am Dom. The room was very comfortable and spacious for me. When I first saw the listing, it did feel a little unusual that it is connected to a yoga studio. However I spent most of my time out in the city so I didn’t see the yoga classes in action. It is quite cool and interesting that guests are invited to join if they choose to do so. The check-in process was very easy to follow and smooth. There is an elevator in the building so that’ll make it easier to carry any heavy luggage. The location is located near the university and around many restaurants so at night it can be lively but despite that, it was still quiet for a decent sleep. It is a little far from the center of the city but there is a bus and tram stop nearby. And although I didn’t see the hosts themselves (apart from my arrival) during my stay, they were very courteous and helpful. Highly recommend if you plan to go to Cologne.
