This hotel opposite Cologne's Lanxess Arena offers a unique mix of historic and modern architecture and good transport links. The Hotel Stadtpalais is set in a protected historic building. Everything was amazing, from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave. Staff is very nice, room was clean and had an amazing view. breakfast were delicious. Good location as train stations were about 5 minutes away walking.

The rooms are clean and spacious. Breakfast was amazing, buffet, with almost anything one needs. located near the centre. The staff was friendly and helpful especially Julie at the reception. Julie showed her professionalism when she was encountered by an abusive guest whose booking was cancelled because he didn’t complete the process online, and he blamed the hotel for that. I supported Julie’s decision on not rebooking the guest, he was so abusive even to his wife whenever she tried to talk him out. Please please guests make sure your bookings are in order instead of giving bad reviews of Hotels and their staff, yet we are the ones who mess up.
